The 51st Annual Lions Club Pancake Benefit at 3603 Range Road to benefit Black Hills Workshop was held on Sunday, February 26 from 7:30 a.m. – 2 p.m and over 800 attended the event. All proceeds will build a park/picnic area behind the main Black Hills Workshop facility located on Range Road. The people with disabilties served at this building will have easy access to this park/picnic area and it will provide a pleasant and comfortable place for them to spend time outdoors. Black Hills Workshop provides services to over 615 people with a variety of disabilities and has for 54 years.

The Pancake Benefit was well attended and sponsored and hosted by the Rushmore Lions Club.  Modern Woodmen of America generously matched the proceeds with a $2500 donation through their Matching Fund Project. We thank both generous organizations for their amazing support!

If you would like to support the Picnic Area Project, use the donate now button on the main page to make a contribution or contact JoAnne Schriver in the Black Hills Workshop Foundation Office at 718-6204 for more information.
